We want rowers!
We want rowers of all abilities. Most of the rowers at UML have never rowed before and this offers the student a unique alternative to the more conventional sports like track, football, baseball, etc. First year rowers are called novice rowers and compete againest other novice rowers. Come on out and give the sport of crew a try! |
We want coxswains!
All our boats have coxswains which are typically under 130 Ibs. They have total control over the rowers whenever the rowers are in or near the boat. They need to be confident in their ability to give commands and steer the boats. Novice boats need novice coxswains, so come on out and we'll show you everything you need to know! |
